How To Solve Common Issues Body Temp Log — Fever Diary

Your thermometer shows the number; this app remembers it. Body Temp Log is a plain written diary for body temperatures — a notebook for readings you take with a real thermometer. It is not a thermometer itself: this app does not and cannot measure temperature.

When you check a temperature, write it down while it is still on the display. Tag who it belongs to — you, your child, your partner — note any symptoms, and tick whether a fever reducer was given, with the medicine's name. During a family fever, that is exactly the record you lose track of at 3 a.m.

HOW TO LOG A READING

• Enter the temperature in °C, with one decimal — no upper limit cutting off a high fever

• Choose who it is for — Me, Child, Partner, or Other

• Tag symptoms — chills, cough, sore throat, stomach — and note a fever reducer if one was taken

• Tap "Save Entry" — done in about ten seconds

THE FEVER CURVE, PLAINLY

Saved entries appear below the form with the newest first, and the home screen shows the last seven days at a glance — the fever curve as it rises and falls. History groups every day, and chips let you filter to one person's readings when more than one family member is sick.

YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS

There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. The app works completely offline and keeps every entry on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, and your history is never held behind a subscription.

TAKE IT TO THE DOCTOR

Export your entire history to a CSV file at any time — open it in a spreadsheet, print it, or show the list at the appointment. When a doctor asks "how high, and since when?", you will have the answer written down.

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO

This is a manual notebook, not a medical device. It does not measure temperature — no phone sensor, no finger scan, no simulation. It does not diagnose fever, does not classify readings as normal or high, and does not give medical advice. If you are worried about a fever, especially in a young child, contact a doctor.

WHO FINDS IT USEFUL

• Parents nursing a child through a fever who need the numbers and medicine times in one place

• Anyone asked by a doctor to keep a temperature record during an illness

• People tired of "temperature apps" with fake measuring, subscriptions, and pop-up ads

• Caregivers keeping a simple record for a family member

Start with the next reading. A dated fever curve, with who it was and what was given, is exactly what a doctor asks for — and it takes ten seconds per entry to keep.
Write down fever readings in a simple offline diary. Not a thermometer.
